Kale chips

I've been wanting to try to make kale chips for months, but I've been intimidated by the dehydrator. I decided to finally go for it. I used 1 recipe cheezy sauce for 1 large mixing bowl full of kale. Mix well to coat, then put in the dehydrator. Mine doesn't have variable temperature, so I just plugged it in and let it do it's thing for about 8 hours. They are yummy. My two year old kept begging for more.

About the Authors
Shauna: a mother/social worker currently trying to eat more real food in season and less meat. Also learning how to make her own household cleaners and cosmetics for a more sustainable, less toxic lifestyle.
Anne: a mother/P.A. who eats mostly out of her own backyard. She raises her own poultry and keeps bees. She is a master at preserving the bounty of her harvest as well.
Angie: a mother/English teacher who makes delicious food (vegetarian and otherwise), is a master at giving dinner parties, and interested in keeping cancer-causing agents out of her home.
Becca: a mother/teacher/folklore specialist who also eats mainly out of her own backyard. She *is* blessed with an exceptionally long growing season, due to location.
Beka: a mother/Registered Nurse/marathoner who has plenty of great tips about health and exercise, along with yummy recipes. She is also an accomplished photographer.
Erika: an actor/hair stylist who has a gift for cooking and is interested in creating delicious, healthy food. She is also musically gifted, and has recently added knitting and sewing to her list of can-dos.
Lara: a mother/teacher/poet/novelist/I could go on all day...who can create delicious food out of thin air. She is interested in eating locally and committed to teaching others about the importance of sustainable eating.
Shelby: a mother/certified speech pathologist who cooks delicious meals and makes her own babyfood. Also has her own etsy shop and is extremely craft-gifted.
Shelly: a mother/mathematician who has great recipes for food and kitchen cosmetics. She got me (shauna) started down the path of less toxic living. Also very manually gifted.
